The Immaculate Conception

In 2024, December 8 is the Second Sunday of Advent, so the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is transferred to Monday, December 9. Previously, when the date was moved, the obligation was abrogated. From now on, the feast must be observed as a day of obligation when transferred. In light of this new directive, the Immaculate Conception Monday, December 9, 2024, is to be observed as a day of obligation.

On this day, Masses at St. Matthew will be offered at 6 a.m. (English), 8:15 a.m. (School Mass),  12:05 p.m. ( English), and 6 p.m. (Bilingual).
