St. Matthew family, the time has come. In a few weeks, we will be launching our church renovation project. We will be closing our beautiful church for three months. That means that on the weekend of June 14 and 15, we are going to be moving where our Mass takes place. We're going back to our roots. We're going to be heading over to the School Gym for our Masses. Things to keep in mind:
First, I'd like you to stay up-to-date with all our information. You can do that by visiting our website and reading your bulletin, starting this weekend. That has all our updates.
Things that are going to be remaining the same: We're going to have the same Mass time, same schedule. Our ministries will continue uninterrupted. We will continue to offer the same beautiful liturgies that we have always provided, bringing people to Jesus, forming disciples, and sending them out to transform the world.
We are one-third of the way to covering the project's cost. Please consider donating to the Capital Campaign. Every amount helps us get closer to our goal, and helps reduce my stress level :) To give, you can follow this link.
We will look forward to this time being outside of our church so that we can preserve it for generations to come. Please join me in prayer for our community during this time, and I look forward to seeing you in the school gym.
The campus map depicts the parking areas in anticipation of summer construction. Parishioners with special access needs may park behind the gym for the easiest entry access to the gym.
Please look to this column series for updates on our church roof replacement and seismic upgrade project. In this report, we offer information about current planning initiatives and general plans.
